Who is your favorite pro athlete?

Tom Brady. He’s hardworking and motivating. He’s a good leader, and in my opinion pretty inspirational. I love the Patriots, and I’ve grown up watching the Patriots and Tom Brady.

Why did you choose Mount Ida?

I wanted to get out of state just to try something new. My aunt suggested a bunch of schools in the Boston area and I met with a few of the coaches and I really like Coach (Joe) Campbell. I looked just in Boston area and in California. I’m glad I came to Boston, because it’s helped me become more independent.

What is your favorite moment so far as a Mustang student-athlete?

Either beating JWU last year or beating Lasell in the playoff game last year. It’s hard to decide which one.

What’s your favorite food? TV Show? Music artist? Movie?

Pizza, particularly pepperoni and sausage together from my dad’s restaurant (Avenue 3 Pizza and Subs in Long Beach California. I worked there a lot, for like $4 an hour, you know the routine. It’s a pretty good joint, there’s like 18 gigs on tap. / Prison Break. I can’t wait for the new fifth season in January / Eminem / Forrest Gump is one of my favorites

When not playing your sport, what do you like to do for fun?

Hang out with friends, go into the city, listen to music. I ride longboard when I’m in Cali. Go to the beach, definitely. During the summer I’m at the beach a lot. I play a lot of sports with my friends, too.

What is something most people don’t know about you?

Can I think about it and text you back? (He never did)

What would be your dream job?

I would want to own my own restaurant one day, too. That would be really cool. I want to have a couple of the same restaurants. I would like to buy a few other places and turn them into the same name. Same kind of pizza place like my dad – traditional. You can’t go wrong with pizza.

What’s the best thing about the Division 3 experience?

That it’s pretty competitive, but it’s not all sports-driven. It’s focused on school work as well.

Who is someone that has been an inspiration or a role model in your life?

My parents. They are the ones that motivated me to get out and go try something new in coming to Boston. They were definitely an inspiration. My dad was from around here and he moved out to Cali and they were telling me that they liked it here and that it doesn’t hurt to try. You’re only in college once. I’m probably going to stay in the Boston area for one or two years after college and then move back to Cali.

What are some words that you think your teammates would use to describe you?

Energetic, positive, sometimes dumb.
