The Mount Ida College Men's Basketball program began competing in NCAA contests in 1999. Every season they match up against opponents from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), as well as a tough non-conference schedule made up of local and regional opponents. They have made four appearances in the conference tournament since joining the GNAC, and previously won a conference title in 2001 as members of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC).
The following are some steps you can take to help in the recruiting process:
1. Complete our Recruiting Questionnaire. Fill out the recruiting form (below) in its entirety so we will have your information on hand. Feel free to contact Head Coach Ben Davis at email@example.com or 617-928-4054 with any questions.

2. Come visit. Make a visit to campus with your parents. Contact Coach Davis with some anticipated dates. Coach Davis will confirm availability, which will then allow you the chance to schedule a campus tour and admissions interview through our Admission’s Office at 617-928-4553. Coach Davis and his staff are available throughout the year and are happy to meet with prospects and their families in the men's basketball office. Please anticipate spending about three hours during a complete visit.
3. Send a video or YouTube clips. Send a game or highlight tape of you playing in a competitive environment. We can't get out to see every prospect play. Looking at a tape or YouTube clips of you allows us at least something to go on, which may be helpful in evaluating your ability to play at Mount Ida.

4. See the team play. Check out the schedule and come watch the team play. Send Coach Davis an email in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org or call him at 617-928-4054 so either he or his staff can meet you at the end of the game.
The Process: The men's basketball staff attends games and tournaments throughout a prospect’s junior and senior years. This allows us to establish a positive relationship and rapport with the prospect as well as his family and evaluate their growth and development as a player.
