NEWTON, Mass. -- Freshman Michael Flowers (Albany, N.Y.) was named to the GNAC All-Conference Second Team earlier this week capping off his terrific 2017 campaign.
As the top runner for the men's team, Flowers was the top finisher for the team in every race he completed this season, including a top-5 finish at the Elms Invitational and a top-10 finish at the GNAC Championships. A top high school runner, Flowers was instrumental in helping to push the rest of the team throughout training and was always looking to beat his personal best.
The men's team had their top season in program history, finishing 6th out of 10 teams at the GNAC Championships and consistenly improving on a week to week basis.
