Men's Lacrosse Looks To Tackle 17-Match Slate In Fink's 15th Season This Spring

The cold weather isn’t stopping preparations for the upcoming 2018 Mount Ida men’s lacrosse season, as veteran Head Coach Andrew Fink’s squad looks to make a run at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference crown by taking on another tough 17-match schedule this spring.

The Mustangs begin Fink’s 15th campaign at the helm on Wednesday, February 28th by heading into Boston to square off with Emerson at 4:00 pm EST, as Mount Ida will play its first five matches on the road before opening its home slate with a St. Patrick’s Day clash against New England College at Alumni Field.  The Mustangs will also entertain Gordon and Eastern Connecticut in non-league play while welcoming Albertus Magnus, Rivier, Regis, Anna Maria and Johnson & Wales to Newton for GNAC clashes.

In addition to the Emerson match, Fink’s squad will travel to Becker, Salve Regina, Kean and Dean for non-conference contests while heading to Saint Joseph’s (Maine), Lasell, Emmanuel and Norwich in GNAC play.
