his college coaching experiences, Tately is presently the Director

Hughes has been coaching volleyball for the past five years. He started as the head coach for the junior varsity boy's team at Algonquin high school in Algonquin, Massachusetts from 2004 to 2005. He moved on to Catholic Memorial high school in Dedham, Massachusetts from 2006 to the present as assistant coach for the varsity program. He helped lead the Knights to two conference titles from 2006 to 2008.
Hughes, a graduate from Mount Ida in Communications, played four seasons for the Mustangs as the face of the program during his tenure. He has set every major record in the books including kills per game (5.49), kills (1,715), and attack attempts (1, 934).
Tim was a two time most valuable player for the Mustangs and has been honored with first team Northeast Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) New England division honors for two consecutive years. In 2006, 2007, and 2008 Hughes was first in the country for kills per game and points per game.
He feels that from his experience at Mount Ida he will have
respect from returning players and they will take his knowledge of
the game.
